Orange Send, a service provided by Orange Digital LLC ("we", "our", or "us"), provides messaging and marketing tools for eCommerce merchants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when merchants use our platform.

Information We Collect

• Customer Data from Shopify: When a merchant connects their Shopify store, we access and process customer data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and purchase history solely on behalf of the merchant to enable messaging and marketing campaigns.
• Merchant Information: We collect business information including name, email, phone number, business address, and tax identifiers (EIN or SSN when required) for compliance and service functionality.
• Usage Data: We may collect analytics and system usage data to improve performance, security, and reliability of the platform.

How We Use Information

• Provide and operate SMS and email messaging services
• Enable merchants to communicate with their customers
• Register brands and campaigns for A2P 10DLC compliance
• Verify and maintain records of customer consent
• Provide customer support and system maintenance

App Uninstall and Data Deletion

When a merchant uninstalls Orange Send, we may retain limited records as necessary for legal, compliance, billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and security purposes. Merchants may request deletion of eligible data by contacting support@orangesend.com.

SMS Communications (Orange Send Platform)

Orange Send may send SMS messages directly to merchants related to account activity, service notifications, and important updates.

By providing your phone number to Orange Send, you agree to receive SMS messages related to your account, service notifications, and important platform updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP.

SMS Messaging by Merchants

Orange Send provides tools that allow merchants to send SMS messages to their customers. Orange Send does not independently initiate messages to consumers and acts solely as a service provider on behalf of merchants.

Merchants are responsible for obtaining proper consent from their customers before sending SMS messages. Consent must be explicitly obtained through clear opt-in methods such as website forms, checkout flows, or other documented mechanisms.

Merchants are responsible for maintaining records of customer consent and honoring opt-out requests. Orange Send may store consent status, opt-out status, and related timestamps to help merchants comply with messaging requirements.

SMS Program Disclosure

SMS messages sent through merchants using the Orange Send platform may include account notifications, reminders, or promotional messages depending on the merchant’s use case.

Billing Information

Paid app charges are processed through Shopify Billing. Orange Send does not directly collect or store merchants’ full payment card information.

• Regulatory bodies (e.g., The Campaign Registry) for compliance
• Legal authorities when required by law

SMS consent and phone numbers are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
